Elizabeth Blomster (b.1976) received her BFA from Alfred University in 1998 and her MFA from Rhode Island School of Design in 2004. She has been included in group exhibitions in Manhattan at the Lower Eastside Printshop, IPCNY, Dieu Donné Papermill and Sideshow gallery in Brooklyn. Elizabeth was awarded a Keyholder Residency from the Lower Eastside Printshop (2007), a fellowship to attend Haystack Mountain School(2007) and a Catto scholarship from Anderson Ranch(2008). During summer 2009 she completed an edition of monoprints at Red Horse Press in Hatfield, Massachusetts. Currently she lives and works in Williamsburg, Brooklyn where she uses ephemeral materials to explore abstraction.
